• New: a warning appears in the last days of a free trial, with a button to your dashboard. Trials end at midnight site time on the last day
• New: each site has one name, asked for once. It shows the same on the site PC, the web dashboard and emails, and you can change it later from your web dashboard

• Cloud sync is now always on. Earlier versions left it off by default, which sometimes caused information and analytics to sync incorrectly

Missed Days Catch Up + Site Time Zones

• New: if the site PC was off or offline overnight, the missed days' wash analytics are now fetched automatically when it's back - up to 14 days, each wash caught up on its own
• New: the app tells the web dashboard which time zone the site PC is in, so 'today', records and weekly totals follow the site's own clock - ready for sites outside WA
• Diagnostics now handle daylight saving changes correctly
• Updates are checked more strictly before they install

Fixes

• Bug Fixed: abort logs are downloaded from the LaserWash again after an abort
• Bug Fixed: a diagnostics notification shown while the app was sending to the dashboard now still reaches the dashboard bell and your phone

Sign In With Your WashSignal Account

• Existing installs keep their licence - nothing to do after updating
• New: sign in with your WashSignal account - the app sets up your licence for you, no key to copy. A licence key still works if you have one
• New: moving to a new PC - sign in there and choose 'Move to this PC'. The old PC stops on its next check
• Changed: new installs ask you to sign in on first launch. The 14-day trial now starts when you create your WashSignal account
• Bug Fixed: entering a licence key no longer switches back on washes you had turned off in Wash Settings

Diagnostics Dashboard Fixes

• Bug Fixed: if the server refused a wash's diagnostics status or baseline, the dashboard status could stop updating. The refused part is now held back for 5 minutes and retried, and washes and events keep reaching the dashboard
• Bug Fixed: applying settings could briefly freeze the app while the dashboard connection was slow

Diagnostics Fixes

• Bug Fixed: an E-stop no longer raises a false 'Drive Fault' notification for every drive - you get one notification for the E-stop
• Bug Fixed: when the LaserWash reports an unusually long drive status, the fault details now still reach the web dashboard

Faster Diagnostics Notifications

• Hard fault notifications now come through every time the fault comes back (no more than once every 5 minutes). Before, a repeat within 30 minutes was silent
• Diagnostics notifications reach the web dashboard and phone app much faster - about 15-20 seconds after the fault instead of over a minute

Diagnostics on the Web Dashboard (Pro)

• New Feature: Diagnostics on the WashSignal web dashboard (Pro): drive health, early warnings and events for every wash, with a live view and a notification bell on every page - sent by the desktop app when cloud sync is on. This lets you check on your LaserWash machines' health wherever you are
• On the first start after updating, the last 7 days of diagnostics are sent, so the dashboard isn't empty to begin with
• Diagnostics shows the bridge and pump node state, with how long it has been in that state
• Fewer false arch and encoder warnings on short wash steps; encoder notifications now show how far the reading has dropped and which wash step it happened in

Fixes

• Bug Fixed: Diagnostics could forget what it had learned about a machine if the machine sent back an empty page
• Bug Fixed: some fault names from the machine ran together without a space (e.g. 'FaultArch')
• Bug Fixed: a PC removed from a licence was told the licence had expired - it now says the licence was not accepted by the server

Diagnostics & Early Warnings (Pro)

• New Diagnostics screen (Pro): the trolley, bridge, arch and LP pump drives, each shown beside its own sensors on one screen, live at the same speed as PDQ's own pages
• Early warnings (Pro): WashSignal learns each machine's normal amps at every speed and puts up a notification when a drive runs heavy, jumps suddenly, trends up over several washes, or slowly drifts from when it was healthy
• Notifications also appear for faults the machine reports, such as a car hitting the arch, a drive tripping or a lost position, and when an encoder sensor stops reading
• A notification stays on screen until you open or dismiss it, and opening it takes you straight to Diagnostics for that wash
• Early-warning settings for each site, with a Reset learning button for each drive to use after a motor or gearbox change

Fixes

• Bug Fixed: re-enabling a wash in Wash Settings could leave it switched off
• Bug Fixed: a wash could briefly show an error when WashSignal started or while sales data was syncing

One Setup for Every Windows Login

• WashSignal now works the same for every Windows login on the PC: one setup, one licence, one set of content, whoever is signed in
• Your existing setup moves across automatically the first time 1.5.4 starts, and nothing is removed from the old location
• Only one copy of WashSignal runs per PC. If it's already running under another login, you get a clear message and the signs keep working

Updates & Installer

• Updates no longer close WashSignal until you click Install. If an update is cancelled or an administrator password isn't available, WashSignal keeps running
• On PCs installed for all users, WashSignal tells you up front when an update needs an administrator
• WashSignal now recovers by itself from a damaged settings file
• Uninstalling now asks WashSignal to be closed first, and removes data cleanly if you choose to

In-App Updates & Installer

• Updates now download and install from inside WashSignal, with no browser download step
• Every update is verified as genuine before it installs
